I have been tattooing since 1999. About a year after I first had a machine put in my hand, Devin and Johnna informed me of their intention to open the first all-custom tattoo shop in Omaha. I was fortunate enough, despite my lack of experience, to be invited to work alongside them, and help establish Liquid Courage Tattoo. It has been a tremendous pleasure to watch the maturation of the shop, to watch it grow and take its place as one of the premier studios in the Midwest (in my humble opinion). As an artist, I have learned a great deal from the talented folks beside whom I work each day, and I owe a great deal of my success to them. My interests are varied, so I have tried to cultivate a personal style that can move between diverse styles and traditions; from American to Japanese, tribal to portraiture, color to black-and-grey, I really like to switch it up. As the ranks of our ever-growing clientele continue to swell, I find myself able to do a little bit of everything these days, and that is precisely the way I like it.
